Prime Minister Gonsalves in Brussels for EU-LAC talks

KINGSTOWN, St Vincent — St Vincent and the Grenadines prime minister Ralph Gonsalves is in Brussels as part of his role as president pro-tempore of the Community of Latin America and Caribbean States.

His visit coincides with the planning of the EU-CELAC Summit which will be held in Brussels on 17 and 18 July 2023.

This year’s CELAC summit will be the first in seven years. European Union High Representative and vice president Josep Borrell said the EU hopes that it will re-launch bi-regional relations with Latin America and the Caribbean and institutionalise regular political dialogue.
