Tranquility Beach Resort development continues steadily

ROSEAU, Dominica – Construction work continues to move steadily on Tranquility Beach Resort – Curio Collection by Hilton in Salisbury Dominica. The project commenced in January 2019 and is scheduled to be completed between the end of 2021 and the first quarter of 2022.

Over 70 persons are currently employed on the construction phase of Tranquility Beach Resort – Curio Collection by Hilton is led by Ian Edwards a visionary Property Developer and Architectural Designer renowned for first-class architectural design solutions – a well-reputed businessman whose work been hallmarked by notable global accolades in his field.

Upon completion, including an expansion, the resort will consist of 99 rooms and permanently employ between 250 and 300 persons.

“Despite all the challenges we continue to face as an island, our pursuit for development will never cease”, said prime minister Roosevelt Skerrit. “Tranquility Beach Resort is one of many ongoing projects that I have been proud to watch from its very inception, to now. I would like to thank Ian Edwards for his continued support and for the dedication he has shown for this project, as well as the goodwill he has been spreading throughout the Salisbury community,” Skerrit added.

Tranquility Beach Resort/Dominica part of the Curio Collection by Hilton offers a niche of its own ecotourism – Citizenship by Investment (CBI) the dual benefit of citizenship as well as profitable investment into the hospitality industry and the next generation first-class hotels and resorts.

Applicants can either make a one-off contribution to the Economic Diversification Fund or invest in the Nature Island of the Caribbean, Dominica’s, CBI options and Tranquility Beach Resort offerings.

At a citizenship by investment Webinar May 27, themed, “Immigrant Investment Opportunities in Post Pandemic World,” prime minister Skerrit said “We have decided to use the CBI funds in a sustainable way. We use it mainly for public sector investment programmes, the building of schools, […] hospitals, health centres, roads, bridges, the education of our human resources, our children, our youth,” the prime minister explained.
