St Lucia: Holy Trinity Anglican Church embarks on strategic planning

CASTRIES, St Lucia – The strategic planning team continues a consultative approach of interfacing with the Anglican congregation and the Church groups of Holy Trinity Church and St Mary the Virgin at La Caye.

During this last week, we examined “Financial Management in Strategic Planning” [ Saturday, May 22, 2021] with Richard Peterkin.

This Saturday the Reverend Eleanor C Glasgow who holds M.A. in Theology; B.A. in Theology, History & Sociology from Codrington College & UWI, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados and is the Priest-in-Charge, Parish of Grace Church (Rivierre Doree), St Paul’s ( Vieux Fort) and the Christ the King (Soufriere) will speak on the topic – “Spirituality: A critical component in community strategic planning”.

DATE: Saturday, May 29, 2021

TIME: 10:00 AM

VENUE: Holy Trinity Church, Castries. (COVID-19 protocols in effect).

This is the second in the series of lectures. These sessions when announced, are for the benefit of a) the entire congregation which includes Anglicans nationwide and overseas, b) officers of the Parochial Church Council and, c) the respective Church groups Anglican Church Women’s Association, and Brotherhood of St Andrew, the Mothers Union and the youth of the Church.

While the strategic planning team is conducting its work, Brother David and Brother Cecil are also inviting suggestions and comments from anyone who wishes to make a contribution towards the attainment of the strategic plan for the Church.

The lectures are expected to continue during the month of June and the future dates and times of those lectures will be announced. All presentations shall be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
