Portland’s 38th Annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta Returns May 2-5–Celebrate Culture, Music, and Support Local Latino Businesses

PORTLAND, Ore.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–For nearly four decades, Portland’s Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, presented by Toyota and benefiting the Portland Guadalajara Sister-City Association (PGSCA), has been a cornerstone celebration of Mexican culture, community, and tradition. This four-day festival brings together authentic food, live music, traditional dance, and artisan markets at Tom McCall Waterfront Park from May 2-5, 2025. This year, the event holds even deeper significance, highlighting the importance of supporting Latino-owned businesses, artisans, and vendors who rely on the Fiesta each year.

WHEN: May 2-5, 2025 – 11:00 am to 11:00 pm Friday through Sunday and 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Monday, May 5th.

WHERE: Tom McCall Waterfront Park (98 SW Naito Pkwy, Portland, OR 97204)

WHY: More than just a festival, this year’s Fiesta is an opportunity to support Latino-owned businesses, artisans, and vendors who rely on this annual event. It’s a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the vibrant culture that has been part of Portland for nearly four decades.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Authentic Mexican Cuisine: Savor the flavors of Mexico with over 30 food vendors offering tacos al pastor, carne asada, tamales, pozole, and more. Each dish is a celebration of heritage and tradition.

  • Headline Performances: Experience unforgettable music from top performers, including Banda Aguila, El Gran Sabor de Adrian Diaz, Grupo Mparable, Banda R15 del Korita Gonzalez, and more.
  • Family Fun at Plaza de Niños: Kids can enjoy free crafts, a full carnival, face painting, activities, and family-friendly carnival rides.

TICKETS: Tickets start at just $14 for adult single-day admission and $10 for youth, plus ticket service fees, when purchasing online. For those looking to enjoy the full weekend of festivities, weekend passes start at $19 for youth and $24 for adults—making it easy for families and groups to experience everything the Fiesta has to offer without breaking the bank.
