OTTAWA, Canada – Mary Ng, minister of international trade, export promotion, small business and economic development, will visit Mexico City between November 23 and 25, 2022, to attend the Pacific Alliance Summit and celebrate Canada’s 10 years as an observer state to the regional trade alliance.
“At the summit, minister Ng will advance Canada’s strong and vibrant relationships with the Pacific Alliance, and its four countries, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru; and promote Canada’s inclusive approach to trade, which includes the Global Trade and Gender Arrangement,” said media relations office, Global Affairs Canada.
“Minister Ng will meet with Raquel Buenrostro, Mexico’s secretary of economy, to continue their engagement on strengthening the long-standing trade and investment relationship between Canada and Mexico. Minister Ng will also meet with representatives of Canadian businesses and stakeholders operating in Mexico’s energy, mining, and manufacturing sectors and host a panel discussion with Canadian and Mexican women business leaders,” concluded Global Affairs Canada, in a press release.
