AICS to host free three-day winter camp for kids in Dubai

UAE – In celebration of the holiday season, Apple International Community School (AICS), a community school in Al Karama; will host a free winter camp for Dubai students ages 4-12 from December 22 to 24 (from 9:00 am to 5.00 pm) at their campus in Karama.

In association with hands-on learning solutions company ATLAB , children will enjoy a full-day festive building experience using LEGO Bricks and products. Guided by experienced Trainers- Kids will have the opportunity to create an entire Christmas themed park such as Christmas trees, houses, Santa Claus, sledges etc. using Lego products, LEDs and other safe-to-use electronics.

In addition, kids can also attend a free interactive one-hour class on robotics led by Unique World Robotics, a coding and robotics education organisation. The innovation Lab will be fully-equipped with various Lego kits for kids to create their own designs.

Dr Timothy Hughes, chief academic officer of LEAMS Education said: “The camp will offer an immersive festive experience that is designed to allow a child to learn and unleash their creativity through creative interactive play in a fun and stimulating environment. This will give parents the opportunity to keep their kids engaged during the festive holidays.”
