Vladimir Putin: Now you see it, now you don’t

By Jolly Green

In part one of a three-part series, most of the opposition party leaders have been gathered up and imprisoned to stop them organizing against Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. Russian opposition supporters are starting to Revolt and protest, thousands are currently being arrested, locked up, and beaten. Putin is currently seen as a ‘thief’ by many in Russia and by most of the Worlds intelligentsia and the informed.

Ignorant people without the ability to think for themselves have not even considered that he is a ‘thief’ and the greedy that support him do not care. When you consider that Putin is either the richest man in the world or among the top richest people. It must be asked, where did the wealth come from?

He came from a poor working-class family, no Wealth, and no special privileges. He was born in Leningrad (now St Petersburg), Russia, on October 7, 1952.

Father: Vladimir Spiridonovich Putin.   Mother: Maria Ivanovna Shelomova, two elder brothers Albert Putin, Viktor Putin [both dead].

He grew up with his family in a Leningrad communal apartment. He was a bright child and attended the local grammar and high schools, where he developed an interest in sports.

Political ideology: 1975 – 1991 Communist Party of the Soviet Union; 1995-1999  Our Home-Russia Party; 1999-2001 Unity Party; 1991–1995 and 2001–2008 Independent Party; 2008 to present  United Russia Party.

In 1974, the middle of his fourth year, the long-time dream of Putin as a student had come true. A KGB officer called him at home and offered to meet. The next day, Vladimir, burning with impatience, waited at the appointed place. The man who called him did not show up, and Putin decided that he was not coming at all. Finally, the KGB officer arrived after all, immediately offered a job in his organization to Putin, and pointedly noted that they did not need just any law student, but only promising “cadres.” Indeed, only three students from the Faculty of Law received this kind of offer in addition to Putin.

In1975, Putin graduated from Leningrad State University with a law degree and an IQ in excess of 140. Putin had to wait for an entire year before receiving an official invitation in 1976 to the personnel department of the Leningrad branch of the all-powerful KGB.

In1977, after KGB acceptance Putin underwent a year’s training at the 401st KGB school in Okhta, Leningrad.

In1978, he began his career in the KGB as an intelligence officer. He began work briefly in the second chief directorate (counterintelligence) before he was transferred to the first chief directorate, where among his duties was the monitoring of foreigners and consular officials in Leningrad. He was classified as brilliant.

In1980, Putin met his future wife, Lyudmila Putina, who was working as an Aeroflot flight attendant at the time. The couple married in 1983 and had two daughters: Maria, born in 1985, and Yekaterina, born in Dresden, 1986.

In1984, the KGB sent Putin to north of Chelebityevo a Moscow suburb, to study at the Andropov Red Banner Institute, one of the primary espionage academies of Russia, where he was specialty trained for his trip to Germany. The Institute was alternatively known as School 1010 or the 101st School, and referred to as K1 or Gridnevka by students.  Putin’s code name in intelligence school was “Platov.”

Between 1985 to 1989, the KGB stationed Putin in Dresden, East Germany. Angelikastraße 4, Dresden – former KGB headquarters is where Vladimir Putin worked in 1985-1989 / Brücke-Osteuropa. During that time, Putin was assigned to Directorate S, the illegal intelligence-gathering unit (the KGB’s classification for agents who used falsified identities) where he was given cover as a translator and interpreter [he speaks German and English].

One of Putin’s jobs was to coordinate efforts with the East German secret police, the Stasi, to track down and recruit foreigners in Dresden, usually those who were enrolled at the Dresden University of Technology, in the hopes of sending them undercover in the United States. But his most important job as discussed in the book of interviews, ‘First Person’, Putin recalled that KGB operatives were gathering all the information connected with their strategic adversary, NATO. Recruiting informants, information gathering and transferring all received data to Moscow.

When the Berlin wall came down, Putin was the man who burnt all the KGB documents, it took him three days.

In 1990, upon returning to Russia, Putin still employed by the KGB held an administrative position at the University of Leningrad. He has several nicknames, Grey Cardinal, Vova, Volodya, and VVP. He had the reputation of a “gray cardinal” from his early KGB years being responsible for the purity and consistency of the Communist ideology.

In June 1991, he assumed a position with the international affairs section of Leningrad State University, reporting to Vice-Rector Yuriy Molchanov. In his new position, Putin maintained surveillance on the student body and kept an eye out for recruits. It was during his stint at the university that Putin grew reacquainted with his former professor Anatoly Sobchak, then mayor of Leningrad.

August 20, 1991, Putin resigned from the active state security services [KGB] with the rank of lieutenant colonel. After the fall of communism in 1991 he became an adviser to liberal politician Anatoly Sobchak. When Sobchak was elected mayor of Leningrad later that year, Putin became his head of external relations. Putin had always been an opportunist, and this was an opportunity he could not resist.

In 1994, Putin became Sobchak’s first deputy mayor, a connived invented position. And in1996, after Sobchak’s defeat, Putin resigned his deputy mayoral post and moved to Moscow.

In1998, Vladimir Putin did not reach the upper echelons of the political institution until he suddenly secured a political appointment to head the Federal Security Service (FSB). The Federal Security Service (former KGB) was set up in 1995, tasked with tackling perceived threats to the Russian State. Putin ran the agency before he worked directly for president Boris Yeltsin. This organization has a specialist assassination section.

In1998, Putin was appointed deputy head of management under Yeltsin’s presidential administration. Putin being very intelligent and as crafty as an Arctic fox, was very soon, at Yeltsin’s behest, appointed head of Yeltsin’s Security Council. Putin was now controlling Yeltsin. In that position, he was in charge of the Kremlin’s relations with the regional governments. Yeltsin was drunk night and day and became reliant on Putin to help him try and hide the drunkenness and the private and State problems that the condition brought. Putin was able to take advantage of Yeltsin’s drunken stupors to his own benefit.

August 1999, with Putin’s connivance, Yeltsin dismissed his prime minister, Sergey Stapashin, along with his cabinet, and promoted Putin in his place. Putin was now on his way to being president; he continued to cultivate Yeltsin’s drunken stupidity to make sure that the position of prime minister and ultimately president eventually came to him.

December 1999, Yeltsin, the chronic alcoholic resigned as president of Russia and appointed Putin acting president until official elections were held, and on March 2000, Putin was elected to his first term with 53 percent of the vote. Promising both political and economic reforms, Putin set about restructuring the government and launching criminal investigations into the business dealings of high-profile Russian citizens. He also continued Russia’s military campaign in Chechnya.

In 2001 September, in response to the terrorist attacks on the United States, Putin announced Russia’s support for the United States in its anti-terror campaign. However, when the United States’ “war on terror” shifted focus to the ousting of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, Putin joined German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder and French president Jacques Chirac in opposition of the plan.

In 2004, Putin was re-elected to the presidency, and in April of the following year made a historic visit to Israel for talks with prime minister Ariel Sharon, marking the first visit to Israel by any Kremlin leader.

In 2008, due to constitutional term limits on being president, Putin was prevented from running for the presidency. It was arranged that his protégé Dmitry Medvedev succeeded him as president in March 2008, he immediately appointed Putin as Russia’s prime minister. This was quite obviously rigged between Putin and Medvedev to allow Putin to maintain a primary position of influence for the next four years. It is an obvious clear picture of cheating the system, even corruption in action. During Medvedev rule the presidential terms in Russia were changed, extended from four to six years.

March 4, 2012, Putin was re-elected to his third term as president following widespread protests and allegations of electoral fraud, he was inaugurated on May 7, 2012, and shortly after taking office appointed Medvedev as prime minister. Once more at the helm, Putin has continued to make controversial changes to Russia’s domestic affairs and foreign policy. Many who protested election fraud were imprisoned, murdered, or disappeared.

In 2013, Putin as president earned 3,672,000 rubles (US$115,000) and in 2014, earned 640,000 rubles (US$16,000) a month, 7.7 million rubles (US$193,000).

In 2015, Putin earned 8.9 million rubles (US$137,000) approximately 740,000 (US11,500) a month.

In 2017, by now Putin owned many houses around the World, palaces in Russia, mega yachts’, several privately-owned aircrafts and airliners.  All staffed by permanent privately employed servants and crews. According to analysts’ Putin is the richest man in the world, with a net worth exceeding US$200 billion. Richer than Jeff Bezos [US$150 billion], Bill Gates [US$107 billion], and the King of Saudi Arabia [US$18 billion].

Where could such wealth come from if it’s not ‘stolen’? His entire pay over the past 15 years only adds up to about US$1.5 million, which means that over US$1.999 billion have mysteriously appeared to his credit. There is no State bonus system for Putin, so where did the wealth come from?

But beware; Putin is a major threat to World Order and World Peace. I will tell you how.
