St Lucia: Holy Trinity Anglican Church continues its lectures in strategic planning

By Caribbean News Global contributor

CASTRIES, St LuciaLast week Saturday, May 29, we heard from Reverend Eleanor C Glasgow on the topic, “Spirituality: A Critical Component in Community Strategic Planning.”

Reverend Glasgow made 21 recommendations to the gathering, and concluded that: “The key to the realization of these recommendations is for the Anglican Church in the Archdeaconry of Saint Lucia (and, by extension, the Diocese of the Windward Islands, to adopt a more outward-looking thrust so that it can be seen as not only a moralizing church but a ‘church-in-action’ living out the Christian precept of “service to all” without prejudice, fear, or favour.” She further asserts, that: “With prudent management, social conscience and corporate will, the recommendations can be accomplished to the glory and honour of God, and holistic community growth both (within and without) can be realized.”

The Strategic Planning Team announces the third in the series of lectures at Holy Trinity Church.

This coming weekend, two ladies will speak:
