Company Expands Product Portfolio, Creating New Growth Market Opportunities While Strengthening its Position as America’s #1 Silicon Wafer Solutions Provider

PRESCOTT, Ariz.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#300MMPure Wafer, a portfolio company of Edgewater Capital Partners and a leading supplier of silicon wafer solutions to the $500B semiconductor industry, announced today that it has acquired Noel Technologies. Noel Technologies is a Silicon Valley-based process development and fabrication services provider that supports the world’s top semiconductor integrated device manufacturers (IDMs), semiconductor original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and fabless semiconductor companies.

The addition of Noel Technologies to the Pure Wafer family expands Pure Wafer’s product portfolio allowing it to leverage several unique strengths: Noel brings a range of new growth applications such as thin films, wafer standards, LEDs, opto-acoustic micro-phones, flexible electronics, micro array mirrors, and lab on chip. Noel’s lithography engineering services includes reticle layout and process development to assure design success. Similarly, Pure Wafer will leverage these additions with its industry leading silicon wafer solutions products to bring added value to a larger customer footprint of more than 1,600 OEMs and IDMs across the USA, Europe, and Asia.
