HealthPartners names Megan Schmidt senior vice president of health solutions

BLOOMINGTON, Minn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–HealthPartners has named Megan Schmidt senior vice president of health solutions. In this role, Schmidt will be responsible for leading health plan growth strategies with an emphasis on strengthening partnerships with employers, key care systems and innovation partners in service to HealthPartners members. She will lead the sales and account management functions and will also have leadership responsibility for HealthPartners Robin and HealthPartners Unity Point Health plans.

Schmidt has more than 20 years of experience in health care, most recently serving as senior vice president, employer solutions for Priority Health, a regional plan in Michigan that is part of a large, integrated health system.
