Qiagen’s dominant position remains with leadership in fifteen of the eighteen nucleic acid purification segments surveyed
CARLSBAD, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Today Percepta Associates released its 2020 DNA Purification, Series 1, Life Science Dashboard™ and 2020 RNA Purification, Series 1, Life Science Dashboard™ reports. These reports update findings from Percepta’s previously published 2016 Nucleic Acid Purification Dashboard. 2020 reports see the addition of several new granular research product segments including cell-free DNA and RNA extraction. These updated Dashboards reveal that modest growth is reported for both DNA and RNA segments with an overall reported increase in a combined market size of over half a billion US$ since 2016 and projects total revenues of US$1.7 billion in 2021. Cost/isolation has increased for most DNA subsegments but has decreased for 5 of 6 historic RNA sub-segments since 2016.
