BAJCAN Cannabis Magazine to launch April 20

By GIS

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – The Barbados Medicinal Cannabis Licensing Authority (BMCLA) will be launching the first edition of its BAJCAN Cannabis Magazine – the official industry magazine.

Available digitally to the public on Thursday, April 20, for BBD$10 or USD$5, this first edition of BAJCAN Cannabis Magazine will focus on the intricacies of cultivation, processing, pest management and more.

The BMCLA’s communications and public education specialist, Tracy Moore, said:

“The BMCLA is always looking for new ways to educate and equip our applicants and licensees with information that they can benefit from when operating in this new industry. A lot of our educational content tends to centre more on the regulatory framework, but with this first edition of the BAJCAN Cannabis Magazine, we get the opportunity to delve into the plant itself. Internationally renowned industry expert and Master Grower Shlomo Booklin contributed his years of knowledge and experience to the magazine’s content, giving us a range of topics from the selection of seeds to the harvesting of cannabis.”

She explained that the magazine is not exclusively for applicants and licensees but will be available to anyone interested in learning more about the medicinal cannabis industry, regardless of their investment.

Moore continued: “We plan to release the BAJCAN Cannabis Magazine for purchase on our website annually as we continue to publish informative content from credible and reputable sources. We hope that our stakeholders can have a meaningful takeaway from the content that allows them to flourish within the industry or at least, pique their interest in it. The BMCLA prides itself on creating an industry where we can all grow together.”
