Here in Taiwan, I’m free!
“Here, you can show your love without fear. Here, men and women have the same rights and opportunities.
“Here, different creeds and cultures live together in harmony. Here, we reflect on the horrors of the past to build a better future.
“Here, we listen to our people and put their ideas into practice. Here, you can feel free to speak your mother tongue without shame. Here, having a disability doesn’t hold you back.”
During UNGA 76, the government of Taiwan will organize peripheral activities on topics such as “International Humanitarian Care”, “Sustainable Development” and “Science and Technology Epidemic Prevention”.
“#Taiwan is a human rights heavyweight. The country’s 23.5 million people are free to speak, learn, believe, vote & love. Watch “To Freedom” & join the call to give Taiwan a voice at #UNGA76. #TaiwanCanHelp realize the #GlobalGoals, #PresidencyOfHope & revitalize the #UN,” MOFA said on Twitter.
