BASSETERRE, St Kitts – Former prime minister Dr Denzil Douglas’ land for debt swap has been described as a “brilliant idea and a stroke of genius,” former chairman of the People’s Action Movement (PAM), attorney Chesley Hamilton said over the weekend.
“Why you think Team Unity cannot reverse the land to debt swap (as they promised). They cannot reverse it because that is what has the debt ratio below 60 percent,” said Hamilton, “the land for debt swap is one of the most brilliant ideas that came up in St Kitts politics.”
