As a Saint Lucian and lifelong supporter of the Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP) it is with great confidence and respect that I endorse Dr Kenny D. Anthony as my member of parliament for Vieux-Fort South and Philip J. Pierre, as leader of the SLP.
As our battered nation move forward to deal with the aftermath of the last five agonising years, we will be confronted with challenges as we move this country on a path of restoration. A task we have done before and will do again, Saint Lucia.
I continue to enjoy working with Dr Anthony, as our member of parliament for Vieux-Fort South and pledge all my support to our political leader and soon to be prime minister, because he has been tried and proven as a true statesman and an efficient minister of government. In all instances, he has put his Saint Lucian people first. I endorse fully, the impeccable Saint Lucia Labour Party slate of candidates, as all the Labour candidates are men and women of the highest character and integrity.
Our Labour candidates will provide the perfect synergy, that Saint Lucia needs at this time.
The mix of Emma’s experience, Jeremiah’s strength, Joachim’s resilience, Guibion’s loyalty, Virginia’s empathy, Wayne and Kenson’s youthful vigour, Shawn’s generosity, Kenny’s wisdom, Moses’ creativity, Comrade Alva’s charisma, Alfred’s grounding and determination, Ernest’s confidence, Pauline’s exuberance, the resourcefulness and leadership of Philip and most importantly their collective desire to elevate and put our Saint Lucian people first, which are key elements to promote relationships to get things done in our country in the promotion of good governance.
This general election allows Saint Lucians to change the dismal trajectory of our beloved country. I employ all Saint Lucians to think beyond colour, bribes, illusions of grandeur and artificial renderings; and make an informed decision to vote for integrity, trustworthiness, loyalty to our citizenry, all rooted in the Saint Lucia Labour Party’s slate of candidates and our esteem leader, Philip Joseph Pierre.
On July 26, 2021, I urge every Saint Lucian to vote for empowerment, inclusiveness, involvement and a future of hope for “Bread, Freedom and Justice”, for our nation, our children and our progress; by voting for your Saint Lucia Labour Party candidate.
