How to become a professional football player

By Sheqayli Ascencion

ORANJESTAD, Aruba – Sheqayli Ascencion, a 13-year-old journalist from Aruba, made an interview with Ronald Gomez, the captain of SV Racing Club who also plays for the National team and represents Aruba in CONCACAF Nations League.

Ronald tells the young correspondent what it means for him to be the team captain and gives advice on how to become a professional football player.

‘Good Talk’ became a new section of the F4F Good News Editorial Office. The Good News initiative was launched in April by the Young Journalists from different countries who participated in the previous seasons of the International Children’s Social Programme Football for Friendship. This year the season was postponed due to the pandemic but young correspondents decided to support the world with good news.
