Cuba takes part in an exhibition in Macao, China

CUBA / CHINA, (TV BRICS) – Cuba promoted its tourism offerings and services, mainly as a health destination, during its participation in the 11th Macao Travel Expo in southern China, as reported by Prensa Latina, a partner of TV BRICS.

In this edition, the Expo was accompanied by a Cuban tourism campaign that places the island’s inhabitants, values and benefits at the centre of the attractions that distinguish tourism.

This promotional initiative officially debuted in China last May and has since been presented at trade events in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing.

The Cuban mission sees its presence at the Macao event as another opportunity to promote travel to its territory, provide an approach to its tourism-related business portfolio and promote the sector’s various products, destinations and attractions.

As part of their participation, Cuban officials have at various times highlighted the benefits of the health destination, exchanged views with local authorities and extended an invitation to the second International Medical Tourism and Health Tourism Exhibition to be held next year in Havana.
