Ambassador Tai to travel to Ecuador and Guyana

– On Friday, August 2, ambassador Tai will be in Georgetown, Guyana. Ambassador Tai will meet with Guyanese president Mohamed Irfaan Ali and participate in a roundtable with Caribbean regional stakeholders on trade.

USA / GUYANA – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will travel to Quito, Ecuador from July 30 to August 1, 2024, and Georgetown, Guyana on August 2, 2024.

On Wednesday, July 31, ambassador Tai will hold bilateral meetings with trade ministers from the countries of the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity (“Americas Partnership”) and participate in stakeholder engagements in Quito, Ecuador.

On Thursday, August 1, ambassador Tai will participate in a bilateral meeting with Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa Azin and participate in an Americas Partnership Trade Ministerial meeting.

On Friday, August 2, ambassador Tai will be in Georgetown, Guyana. Ambassador Tai will meet with Guyanese president Mohamed Irfaan Ali and participate in a roundtable with Caribbean regional stakeholders on trade.
