The MOU also encourages the exploration of opportunities for Mandarin and English language teachers and resources to be deployed to language programs at US universities and Taiwan educational institutions and facilitates greater exchange between US and Taiwan institutions based on best practices.

Taiwan is shaping its higher education (domestic and international students) concentrating on a talent pool with economic policy decisions to complement global trends. Positioned as the next alternative in the global marketplace, Taiwan’s knowledge transfer and strategies for market development is a premium on forward-thinking educational initiatives/exchanges.

With educational and innovation strategies to adapt to the challenges of this new era, Taiwan is well on its way to serve as a hub to foster transpacific cooperation, Taiwan-US educational initiatives, talent and skill base for a new generation of knowledge-based personnel, industries, products, and services.
