Venezuela at the polls

CARACAS, Venezuela – The Venezuelan people vote this July 28 to elect their next president. With 16,000 voting centers set up and more than 900 international observers deployed, President Nicolás Maduro is running for a third term against nine challengers, including far-right candidate Edmundo González.

Venezuelanalysis will provide rolling coverage throughout the day, with reports from polling stations, feedback from voters, statements from candidates and then, later in the evening, the results.
