COVID-19 forces Super 6 suspension

KINGSTOWN, St Vincent — The Windward Islands Lotteries which operates the Super 6  has announced its suspension effective Saturday, March 21 – Tuesday, April 07, 2020.

Following Draw number 2005, all sales will be deactivated at all points of sale in all four Windward Islands. Tickets purchased for all future draws will be honoured by the game resumes.

This decision came on the heels of the announcement by the government of Saint Lucia on Friday, March 20, 2020, that effective March 23, 2020 – April 05, 2020, that all non-essential services will be suspended as a precaution to the presence of COVID-19 on island

The Super-6 is a multi-jurisdictional played in the four Windward Islands – Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and St Vincent and the Grenadines, with the last jackpot winner taking home EC$534,000.00.

The Windward Islands Under-15 and Under-19 cricketer tournaments are sponsored by Super-6, along with the sub-regions representative teams at the Under-15 and Under-19 levels.
