Tailored Brands Announces $1 Million Donation Across Multiple Organizations in Honor of U.S. Veterans

HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#hireheroes–In honor of Veterans Day, Tailored Brands announces its annual contribution to Veterans organizations in support of individuals and military families who have served our country. Beginning November 1, customers at Men’s Wearhouse, Jos. A. Bank, and K&G store locations will be invited to make a $1, $3 or $5 contribution at checkout. Tailored Brands will match customers’ contributions up to $1M. The combined donation amount will be shared amongst four Veterans’ nonprofits selected by Tailored Brands for providing a range of services that address the different and equally vital needs of the Veteran community. In addition to its ongoing charitable partner, Hire Heroes USA, Tailored Brands has established three new partnerships, including K9s For Warriors who provides highly trained Service Dogs to military Veterans suffering from PTSD, Fisher House Foundation who builds homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital and Semper Fi & America’s Fund who cares for our nation’s critically wounded, ill and injured service members, Veterans and military families. This combined donation is the latest in Tailored Brands’ longstanding support of this underserved community and underscores its commitment to serving as a resource for Veterans and their families.

“We are proud of our partnerships with these Veterans’ organizations that allow us to give back to those who have served our country. Through these partnerships, we are honored to contribute both financially and through dressing Veterans for important moments in their lives,” said John Tighe, President of Tailored Brands, the parent company of Men’s Wearhouse.

In 2015 Men’s Wearhouse and Kenneth Cole Productions partnered to launch Awearness Kenneth Cole, with a mission to “look good, for good.” Through that collaboration, which continues today, each brand has donated a portion of sales from the collection. Men’s Wearhouse has given more than $3 million to Hire Heroes USA, a nonprofit organization that empowers U.S. military members, Veterans, and their spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce. These donations have helped place more than 36,000 Veterans and their spouses into secure employment. This year, in addition to its donation to Hire Heroes USA, Men’s Wearhouse worked with the organization to dress a selection of Veterans in personally fitted Awearness Kenneth Cole suits to help them look and feel their best as they pursue employment.

“Throughout our longstanding partnership, Men’s Wearhouse has been a tremendous advocate and partner. The Company’s commitment to serving the military community is steadfast, and they continually provide outstanding resources and support to ensure Veterans and their families have the best career opportunities after service,” said Hire Heroes USA CDO, Nadine Bullock-Pottinga.

This year, Tailored Brands was selected by Hire Heroes USA to be featured in the organization’s Veterans 11 campaign acknowledging charitable partners who have made a significant commitment to support Veterans, service members and military spouses seeking civilian employment throughout 2022.
