TAIPEI, Taiwan, (CNA) – The ministry of economic affairs officially inaugurated a Lithuanian products display center in Taipei Tuesday, showcasing snacks and liquor from the Baltic nation.

The Lithuania Products Center, located at Exhibition Hall 1 in the Taipei World Trade Center, features a collection of items including beverages, cooking oil, cookies, breakfast cereals, pasta and dried berries.

Economics minister Wang Mei-hua (王美花), who attended the opening, described the center’s opening as a testament to warming relations between Taiwan and Lithuania.

Trade volume between the two countries reached US$170 million in 2021, 23 percent higher than the previous year, Wang said.
