Belize: Shipyard cattle export to Mexico

BELIZE, Belmopan – More than 400 head of cattle from farmers in Shipyard and Blue Creek are heading to Michoacan, Mexico, via the Culiacán based Mexican multinational company, SuKarne.

The exportation activity is a part of the commitment of the ministry of agriculture, food security and enterprise to improve the livestock industry by securing export markets in Belize’s neighbouring countries of Guatemala and Mexico.
