Catherine’s Café re-opens for 2020 – 2021 season

Antigua’s favorite Beach Restaurant re-opens after a challenging 2020

ST JOHNS, Antigua – Rocks Group is proud to announce the reopening of Catherine’s Café on Saturday, October 17, 2020. After closing in March, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the team is eager to get back to their spot-on Pigeon Point Beach. Located at the south end of the beach, nestled among neem trees, Catherine’s Café offers French cuisine in a relaxed yet elegant setting.

The French restaurant returns with a series of COVID-19 safety protocols, including distanced tables, a sanitization station, and masks required at all times unless seated at a table.

To begin, Catherine’s Café will open for lunch five days a week, closed Monday’s and Tuesday’s, starting with a reduced menu. Returning in the near future will be their brunch and full lunch and dinner menus. Wednesday’s and Friday’s will offer dinner – Jazz Night on Wednesday’s and Moules Frites Night on Friday’s. Similarly, Saturday afternoons of live music on the beach will be back on the schedule shortly, an iconic Catherine’s Café tradition.

Catherine’s Café welcomes an exciting new head chef, Omar, as previous head chef, Jharvari, has left to welcome his first child in Italy. The beloved and familiar front of house team returns, led by restaurant manager, Natasha.

Catherine’s Café was awarded fourth place in Caribbean Journal’s Best Beach Bars in the Caribbean for 2020, making it a must-visit this season. To make a reservation, guests can email reservations@catherines-café.com or visit http://www.catherines-cafe.com/
