NEW YORK, USA – Trinidadians and Tobagonians, USA, a New York-based charity organization registered in the State of New York and comprised of former and current citizens of Trinidad and Tobago, visited the Queens General Hospital in Jamaica, New York to express appreciation for the heroic services being provided by first responders at the hospital.
The group headed by their president, Anoop Bhanpat took dozens of lunch boxes and refreshments on Thursday, April 23, 2020, and presented the food and drinks to the appropriate representative of the hospital.
The group was met at the main entrance to the hospital by Ophthalmologist, D. Weissman, and patients relation representative, Bipasha Haque.
President Dhanpat was accompanied by the group’s treasurer and liaison, Kapil Seetaram and Carl Gookool respectively, in addition to a few other prominent members of the group.
The hospital thanked Trinidadians and Tobagonians, USA, for their generous donation to the staff at Queens Hospital noting, “our staff is so incredibly grateful for the wonderful food.”
